Mondays, Artisans can exhibit their work in a citizen workshop at the Codrington Community Centre. Every Monday morning at 9am, people who do any kind of art or craft are encouraged to spend time together and help or be helped by others with their craft. There is no set charge for the events but residents are encouraged to donate $1 for the use of hall. The event is open to the public and the weekly workshops begin this morning and will run Monday mornings starting at 9 am.

  Aidan's Warrior Bash Lob Ball Tournament

Join us for the 2nd annual Aidan's Warrior Bash Lob Ball Tournament and Kids Fun Bash, held on the third weekend of July (14 to 16 this year) at Centennial Park in Belleville.  Proceeds support childhood cancer research at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and local children (Warriors of Honour) battling the disease. Teams are $300 to register (which can be paid at once or $75 deposit and the remainder before the start of the event.)  Volunteers, sponsors, monetary and prize donations greatly accepted, (cash donations over $20 can get a charitable receipt from Sick Kids).
