  McHappy Day®

This year marks the 41st year that we celebrate McHappy Day in the restaurants. It is the company’s longest-running and best-known national fundraising event with more than 1,400 McDonald’s restaurants celebrating McHappy Day this year. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $46 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Canada, the Ronald McDonald Houses® and hundreds of other local children’s charities. This year, we have chosen to donate to the Pheonix Center as our charity of choice. They have supported many of our local youth in multiple ways and this is a chance for us to give them a little support as a community. We hope that you will join us in celebrating all that they have given to our community and all they still further wish to do. It is a time-honoured McHappy Day tradition for civic and community leaders to join us in our restaurants to celebrate this special day with our customers.

Office Administrative - Executive students and faculty at Algonquin College are working in collaboration with The Grind Pembroke, a not-for-profit charitable organization that operates outreach services in downtown Pembroke for marginalized community members across Renfrew County.

The Grind Pembroke relies solely on the generous support of our community. All money raised throughout our campaign will be ear-marked for the transition house. This home will provide a strong foundation, so people in need can begin the hard work of rebuilding their lives.

Consider making a donation. Charitable receipts can be issued for all donations over $20. There are several ways to donate. You can go to the Grind with cash or a cheque, or check out their website and Facebook for their Donate Nowbutton.
