  Valleyview Male Chorus 22nd Annual Spring Concert

The Valleyview Male Chorus is proud to present its 22nd Annual Spring Concert on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Dundas Street Centre United Church 
(482 Dundas St. at Maitland, London,Ont).  This evening of music will contain a variety of sacred and secular songs performed by the full choir, small groups, a quartet and special guest artist, London baritone Chad Louwerse.  Tickets are $15 and are available from chorus members and at the door.

Join us for our second meeting of the 100 Who Care Strathroy-Caradoc season! We will receive an impact update from the TLC Foundation to hear how the funds raised from our inaugural meeting are used.
Bring your friends, send in your charity nominations and see the impact we can create when we come together!

Bring together 100 (or more) people in Strathroy-Caradoc who care about local community causes and who are committed to community service. Meet for an hour. Jointly select a local charity or not-for-profit organization. Each write a $100 cheque to the selected organization and watch how the group's commitment turns into a $10,000+ donation.

SHORT OF 30: A New Musical 
Fridge Door Live Theatre Company returns to the SDCI Theatre with another new musical by local artists, Len Cuthbert and Fynn Cuthbert. SHORT OF 30 is about seven WW2 posthumouos heroes under the age of 30. It was developed from Len Cuthbert's award winning short play, Posthumous Friends.   Alvinston Rodeo

Coming up in June will be a world class Rodeo event to the community of Brooke-Alvinston. It will be featuring World Rodeo Championship Winner Tyler Foster from Watford and Forest Ontario's Rodney Weese at the Alvinston Pro Rodeo hosted by the Brooke-Alvinston Agricultural Society and RAW HIDE Rodeo. Foster took first in Steer Wrestling and Weese received the Best Aggregate Award at the International Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City last month and will be among the competitors. Planning Committee member Stephanie Cattrysse says it's a good chance to showcase local talent and the community itself. The two-day rodeo will showcase Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Jr. Steer Riding, Barrel Racing, Jr. Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Down Roping, Breakaway Roping and Bull Riding. Plans are also to feature children’s activities as well as a barn dance on Saturday night.
