It’s a Museum Kids Saturday at the L&A County Museum and Archives in Napanee on November 4th at 10am! Have fun with "Stamp Block and Print Making" at the Museum with Spark Box Art Studios.

Join Kyle Topping and Chrissy Poitras of Spark Box Studio for a relief print workshop. Learn about the history and art of block printing, a system that has been used since 500 BC. Watch as artists Kyle and Chrissy walk you through a step-by-step demonstration of preparing an image, carving the image into the printing plate and inking the image to create a print on paper. After the demonstration visitors will be welcome to ink pre-made printing blocks and print small works of their own (please keep in mind that all blocks will be hand carved and thus only a few will be available, being patient and considerate of others at the event will be necessary). This printmaking process is one that is simple and easy to do at home.

Admission is free! Get out and enjoy a great Saturday morning at Museum Kids, proudly presented by the L&A County Museum & Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee.
