||Stratford Garlic Festival
The 10th Annual Stratford Kiwanis Garlic Festival is sure to be the not-to-be missed event of the year, offering a star studded lineup of chefs and presenters.
Celebrities include: Chef Massimo Capra host of Gourmet Escapes guest expert on Cityline, chef host on the hit series Restaurant Makeover on the Food Network and judge on the hit show Chopped Canada; Laura Calder James Beard award-winning television host of French Food at Home, she has also appeared on Iron Chef America and Top Chef Canada; Frankie Flowers arguably Canada's most popular and trusted gardening expert. Places you have seen Frankie include Cityline, Breakfast Television, Dr. Oz, Toronto Sun, Canadian Gardening, Canadian Living.
Plus don't miss the cooking competitions, garlic growing, gardening and health and wellness presentations.
Come speak to the garlic farmers themselves and purchase your garlic for planting or cooking. Start your holiday shopping early at the Ontario Artisans Market.
Children will be delighted by the kids cooking classes, garlic planting, face painting, crafts and Bogle the Clown's Magic Show and balloon sculptures.
Proceeds from the Garlic Festival go to support community projects of the Kiwanis Club of Stratford.

Thomas Day at the CNR School on Wheels Museum, Sloman Park, 76 Victoria Crescent. Admission is free, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards purchasing specialized rescue equipment to help us protect our community.
