  Hensall Kinettes - "Don''t Be A Drag" Ladies Night
The Hensall Kinettes are holding a Ladies Night on Friday May 1st at 7:30pm. The event will be held at the Hensall Community Centre and will feature complimentary wine and cheese, as well as a performance by Toronto based entertainers-Tynomi Banks, Ivory Towers, and Farrah N.   Service of Dedication- Grand Bend Legion
Residents are invited to attend a service of dedication Saturday May 2nd at 11am, upstairs at the Grand Bend Legion Veterans Memorial Branch 498. At this historic event they will re-dedicate their newly refurbished cenotaph honouring those who gave their lives for our county and celebrating the dedication of their new charter in conjunction with the renaming of the branch. There will also be a special service honouring local WW2 Veterans with MP Bev Shipley.

  The Hogtown Allstars
The Grand Bend Art Centre presents The Hogtown Allstars in concert at The Gables, on May 2nd. The concert takes place during Grand Bend's Arts, Eats and Beats Weekend whose 2015 theme is "The Stars Come Out". Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. The Parkhill Firefighter's Association is hosting its 24th Annual Firefighter's Breakfast, Saturday May 16th at the Parkhill Fire Hall - Main Street, Parkhill. Admission is just $8 for adults, $5 for kids under 12 and free for preschooler and younger. The breakfast runs from 7-Noon and this year bring a canned good for the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank and receive $1 off. Funds raised will go into the Firefighters Fund and stay in the community.

  Recycling Bottle and Can Drive
1st Exeter Cubs, Scouts and Venturers will be conducting Recycling Bottle and Can Drive Saturday May 16 2015, between 5:00pm and 9:00pm. They will be collecting all refundable bottles and refundable/recyclable cans. Alternately, the donations of empties can be left on the curb side for our Cubs, Scouts and Venturers to pick up or dropped off at the Youth Center on John Street. The money collected from this event will help Scouts attend Pacific Jamboree 2015 on Vancouver Island. Thank you for your support!

The "Lake Huron Steel Horse Riders" motorcycle riding club, in conjunction with the organizations known as A.B.A.T.E. (Association of Bikers for Awareness,Training and Education), and the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers are taking part in a Motorcycle awareness Campaign.
