  Healing Through Awareness

Victim Services Huron is hosting a community sharing session, "Healing Through Awareness," to help break the stigma and break the silence on mental health and suicide.

This free event takes place Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Central Huron Secondary School, 165 Princess Street East, Clinton.

Sharing their stories are community members, Sherrie Leis Penn and Nancy Gough, who have both lost sons to suicide. By sharing their experiences, they hope it will help others to save anyone who may be struggling with similar challenges.

Funded by the National Victims and Survivors of Crime Awareness Week, this is a great opportunity to network with professional support workers and participate in discussions.  Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Admission is open to all members of the community. Tickets are not required.
