  Inspirational Illusionist coming To Exeter
Claude Haggerty will bring his Inspirational Illusion Show to Exeter on Thursday Oct 2,2014. The show will be held at the South Huron Recreation Centre. Show starts at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6pm. Discount tickets will be offered to those who bring a non- perishable food items. All food items collected will be donated to The Exeter Food Bank. Admission to the show is $15, $12 with a non-perishable food item. The show on Thursday Oct 2nd ,2014 will feature ILLUSIONS and will be very interactive and inspirational. During the show Claude will share his story of overcoming his stuttering, growing up in foster care and he will encourage children of all ages to follow their dreams.

  Seaforth Harmony Kings Annual Show - "Cow Patti"
For over 30 years, the Seaforth Harmony Kings barbershop chorus has presented great musical entertainment along with zany original comedy skits. Join us for this year's show which has a western theme based on Jim Stafford's song "Cow Patti". A young lass returns home to confront the fearless "Killer". Joining us will be a great young quartet called Shoptimus Prime who are former Ontario champions. The show is being held at the Seaforth Public School on Sat. Oct.4 at 7:30 pm. The Lebanon Forest Masonic Lodge is hosting a free Child Identification day. It takes place at South Huron District High School on Saturday October 18th from 9:30am-3:30pm. Photos, video, digital fingerprints, personal profile, dental bite record, DNA. If your child has already done this, we encourage to do it again as they grow.

  Octoberfest dinner and dance
The Dashwood Optimists and Dashwood Fire Department are hosting a Octoberfest dinner and dance on Saturday October 18th at the Dashwood Community Centre. October is also Fire Prevention month so there will be free fire safety and children activities for the kids starting at 4:00pm. Advance Sausage and Sauerkraut Dinner with dessert and coffee tickets are $15. There will also be a Community Appreciation Dance to follow at 9:00pm. Admission for donation and cash bar.
