SMH Auxiliary Craft Show and Bake Sale at the 54+ Club area of the New Tec Rec Centre, Industrial Parkway, Alliston Saturday, October 14 from 9am to 2 pm. Enjoy lunch, baking and crafts of all kinds from knitting to soaps, jams and woodwork plus clothing, stained glass, quilts, sheets, fashion accessories and doll clothes, etc.

  Fresh from the Farm Fundraiser at Alliston Union PS

The staff and students at Alliston Union PS are happy to announce that we are once again offering fresh fruit and vegetables for sale through local farmers.

 

All orders must be paid using cash or cheque ONLY. Cheques are to be made payable to Alliston Union PS.

 

School Cash on –line will NOT be available for this particular fundraiser.

Orders are due no later than Friday, October 6TH.

 

Two options to choose from:

$13 Bundle A contains: 5 lb potatoes, 3 lb each of carrots, onions, sweet potatoes

$15 Bundle B contains: 8 lb of Empire apples

 

Money raised will be put towards playground equipment, technology initiatives and/or special events.

 

Bundles delivered to Alliston Union between November 6-30.

 

More information will be sent home with students on the specific day and time for pickup of bundles at Alliston Union PS.

  Children''s After School Mentoring Program

The Village Kids Club begins again October 4th(girls) and 5th(boys)!
The Village Kids Club is an after school mentoring program where kids are surrounded by caring adults while doing fun activities. The Village Kids Club is for kids in grades 2-8. It takes place at St. Andrew Anglican Church in Alliston from 3:30-6:00pm every Wednesday for girls and Thursday for boys. It is completely free and lots of fun! Beeton Trinity United Church is hosting along with George Scott the Songwriter's Showcase & Song Circle. The event will take place the 3rd Friday of each month. The concert series will feature singer-songwriters from across Simcoe Cnty and beyond with a portion of the evening being set aside for a song circle.
