12th Annual Kevin Lord Memorial Golf Tournament

The 12th Annual Kevin Lord Memorial Foundation Spring Classic golf tournament will be taking place on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Bear Creek Golf Club, 12:00pm shotgun start.  The golf tournament has been held as a fundraiser in memory of Kevin Lord, a past New Tecumseth resident and aspiring ice hockey and ball hockey player who passed away in 2006 at the young age of 20 after a year-long battle with brain cancer.  Over the past 11 years the Foundation has raised in excess of $100,000.00 which has been donated back in and outside the community to many worthy organizations, special charities, hospitals and local families in need. "Without the support of friends and family, this would never have been possible and we can't thank everyone enough for continuing to support our family and the Kevin Lord Memorial Foundation in keeping true to our motto, "Giving A Helping Hand In Helping Others", all in memory of Kevin and we are definitely looking forward to another fun and successful tournament again this year", said Al Lord, tournament director.
The tournament is open the first 144 registered golfers and is usually sold out. Entry fee is $140.00 per golfer or $560.00 per team, which includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner and a prize. Any teams or individuals interested in entering this year should plan to register early in order to secure a spot.  To register or for further details, contact Al Lord at al.lord@sympatico.ca or (416) 576-6128.
