  Canadian Big Band Celebration

The Canadian Big Band Celebration is a not-for-profit arts group celebrating the 1920-'80s music and dance pavilion heritage we share along the Lake Huron Shoreline.

Four events are offered including Friday Night Jazz, two Saturday Big Events, and a Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Friday night at many venues around Saugeen Shores, Saturday & Sunday at UNIFOR off Bruce County Rd 25.

  Walk-It for Parkinson's

Port Elgin, Kincardine and Area Walk-it is a beautiful walk along Lake Huron. Consider joining us on September 9th, or sponsor walkers online.

Regular physical activity can help slow the progression of Parkinson's symptoms, so let's help the Parkinson's community keep active!

Registration begins at 8:00am, and the run starts at 9:00. 

The run begins at the Davidson Centre, and there aare two different routes (5km and 10km) you can participate in. 

Bicycle, Stroller, Rollerblade, and Wheelchair accessible.
Dog friendly but dogs must be on-leash.
 
Parking is available, and refreshments, music, and food will also be provided!

THE POWER OF THE PURSE! Join us for a great evening of canapes, cocktails and of course handbags!

Layne, the Auctionista will be back this year to entertain us as we auction off some great live auction items.

Proceeds from the evening will go directly to care for those requiring end-of-life support in our community. Funds stay local!

The event runs from 6-9pm at the Kincardine Beach Pavilion.

Trillium Court’s main entrance will be set up with a full radio studio, and will be the scene of presentations, auctions, and donations.

  Goderich Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

WANTED: Individuals and Teams of Men to walk in high-heeled RED shoes, standing up against violence against women, rape and sexual assault in our community.

Walk starts at 11:00 with a kick off at the Livery in Goderich and ends at approximatley 12:30 with closing ceremonies back at the Livery.
