  KINCARDINE THEATRE GUILD ONE ACTMANSHIP PLAYS - MAY/JUNE 2017

The Kincardine Theatre Guild is presenting One Actmanship, consisting of 2 one-act plays by Canadian playwright Norm Foster: My Narrator and The Death of Me.

 

Shows are May 18th and 19th at 8 p.m., May 20th at 2 p.m., May 26th at 8 p.m., May 27-28 at 2 p.m. and June 1-2 at 8 p.m. and all will be performed at the Kincardine Centre for the Arts, 707 Queen Street Kincardine.

  RELAY FOR LIFE - KINCARDINE DISTRICT SECONDARY SCHOOL

Kincardine District Secondary School is hosting Kincardine's Relay for Life on Thursday, June 1st from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.  

All are welcome to participate, including survivors, family members, and volunteers.

At Relay For Life, no one faces cancer alone. This event is intended to bring together teams of family, friends and colleagues to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those we’ve lost and commit to raising funds to fight all types of cancer. Relay For Life is a community of people fighting back against cancer.

Relay For Life is a festival-like fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a track or designated path.

  'GOLF FOR KIDS SAKE' TRAVELLING ROAD SHOW GOLF TOURNAMENT

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kincardine and District.

$500/team registration includes:

nine holes of golf at three courses (27 holes), bus transportation, two meals and dessert, entry into draw prizes, taxi transportation at the end of the day, and a tax receipt for a $25 donation.

Huron Bruce MPP will join Municipal Councillors from all over Huron Bruce along with local cyclists at the Clinton Spring Fair on Saturday June 3 at 830 am. Bicycle in a Slow Roll group around the town for one half hour to experience the cycling culture of Clinton.

  LETTERKENNY CAST MEMBERS @ NORTH HURON WESCAST COMMUNITY COMPLEX

June 10th marks 100 Days Away from the 100th International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM), being hosted in Huron County September 19th to the 23rd, 2017.

Some of the cast of CraveTV's Letterkenny will be coming to Huron County to help celebrate!

Rivals on the show Daryl and Reilly will continue their bickering on stage at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex in Wingham on Saturday, June 10th. This is a licensed, age of majority event with doors opening at 8pm.

The Letterkenny boys will be taking the stage at 9pm. A DJ will compliment the sketches until 1am.

Tickets go on sale Monday, April 24 with ticket prices set at $20 +HST in advance and $25 +HST at the door. Only 950 tickets are available, get them soon!

Kingsbridge Centre's exciting debut theatrical production is an original musical written by local playwright Warren Robinson . Based on interviews with local seniors, Kingsbridge:The Musical depicts life in rural Ontario in the 1950's through an explosion of song and dance.   Featuring original music by Mike Reynolds and Eleanor Robinson, the cast of 40 actors and musicians brings to vibrant life a not-so-distant past.   Banjos ring and fiddles sing through rollicking comic songs and tender ballads.  Tickets are available at the door: $20 adults, $10 students, $5 youth 12 and under.
