  Eganville Escape Room

There is now an Escape Room in Eganville!  Escape rooms are fun, team building, puzzle solving experiences that are the latest big entertainment trend.  The Eganville Curling Club has created a room that will be open June 16 until early September.  This escape room has a fun theme called "The Big Game" and you're not actually locked in so there is nothing scary about it.  All ages from teenagers to seniors will enjoy it so find a group of 4 to 6 people and see if your team can peel back time and solve the mystery within the one hour time limit.
This is a fundraiser completely built and operated by volunteers with all proceeds going to the Eganville Curling Club.  We greatly appreciate any promotion that you may be able to give this event.

For online booking and more information, please visit www.eganvillecurling.ca/EscapeRoom

You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression

Many people forget about the interview.  They prepare a resume and cover letter and then sit back to wait, instead of being proactive by preparing and practicing for the interview. The interview is your first chance to make a positive impression.  It requires a great deal of advance preparation and practice in order to do it well.  You need to know yourself well enough to convince an employer to give you a chance.   Land that job!  Drop in to Employment Networks or call 613-432-3424 to register for our free Ace the Interview info session.

Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.

One of the most important aspects of career search is identifying the skills and qualities we have.  Employers who have been surveyed over the years report that over 90% of the job applicants they interview cannot explain their skills.  This workshop contains a number of quizzes and exercises designed to help you determine your Personal and Career Values, Interests, Strengths, and Skills and identify any Barriers or Limitations. Get started with your Career Development by registering for our free Self Awareness info session.  Call Employment Networks now 613-432-3424 to register.
